So I decided for the summer that Grandpa Perry and I would cook together each Friday afternoon, split the food, and feed the family! This last week I chose to make homemade pizza dough in the bread machine, which makes two nice sized pizzas. This pizza crust has corn meal in it, which I got from Breakneck Acres Farm. Grandpa Perry and I visited there last week, and the lovely owner Ami showed us how her corn grinding machines worked. they are imported from Austria and worth the trip to the farm to see them. they are open Wednesday afternoons from 1-6. so we made this pizza together and it was delicious if I do say so myself. The pizzas look incredible, and I think we should have a caption contest for that great picture! My candidate: Thanks, hun, one for dinner and one for lunch tomorrow!
ohhh I love a good contest….I’m in. My caption is “Why do you have to be so big. How will I ever sneek you out for leftovers under my hat?!?”
By the way, the pizza looks delicious. I just ate dinner and yet my mouth is watering – yuuummmmm——ie!
Yes, you are right! Those pizzas were really good, and I didn’t think I was that big a fan of eggplant unless it is breaded and fried! I can’t choose between the Grandpa Perry comments- they are just too good! Sometime I will post the pizza dough recipe for the bread machine. One recipe makes two nice sized pizzas!
My Caption would be, ” Come to Papa! ” Can you say pizza on Kim’s sweatshirt!?
He took that sweatshirt home with him…..again! I am getting him one of those for Father’s Day!
Ohhh Beth. I love your grandpa quote! You do grandpa P so well!!
