This past weekend was just beautiful. Perfect weather for a clambake. So,our friends at the lake all got together and did just that. Sandy found a restaurant/seafood store, Hil Mak’s in Astabula that provides everthing you need for such an occasion. The menu consisted of a dozen clams, 1/2 a chicken, sweet potatoes, corn on the cob, coleslaw, rolls & butter, per person. They also provided all the paperware and the large steamer. Sandy and Bill did the cooking (thank you!) and everything turned out so delicious! A great time with wonderful friends. Perfect fall evening.
