Cranberry-blueberry toast from Breadsmith in Fairlawn, organic berries from Krieger’s, and Kim’s mixed berry jam. Okay, this wasn’t actually the only thing I ate for dinner. We also had a mushroom and kale omelette. But this little toast was so good that it rendered the eggs to also-ran status. In other words, this toast was the Barack Obama of toasts.
I would write more about this, but I need to scrub the jam off of my face and slip into a food coma.
We also had the jqqm n some bread with our dinner….super-d-licious!
How could I forget? I listed our dinner menu and omitted the fact that we had delicious toast and jam. Maybe I forgot because we ate it while we were cooking – just couldn’t wait for everything else to be done before we dug into the great berry flavors.
Note the bite missing from the toast — I couldn’t wait either!
Sounds like the Jam is a hit. Can’t go wrong with triple berry!
That’s for sure!
What a delightful thought to add fresh fruit to toast and jam! I will forever now do that as well! You can ALMOST taste it from the photo!
