Pasta and peas

The Ohio City pasta from the farmers market is great! I made a nice light dinner tonight for a sunny vacation day (yep, Brian and I are on vacation this week!). I sauted a rather large amount of garlic and snap peas from Birdsong Farms in olive oil and butter, and tossed that with Ohio City papardelle pasta (I think I spelled that right). I grilled chicken breasts to go with, and now I have a happy full belly!

Next, I think I’ll pour myself a glass of wine and enjoy the rest of this lovely day!

Ooooh, that looks so delicious! I am finding it interesting and inspirational to learn how every person is using their haul from Birdsong Farm and also their precious Ohio City Pasta. Everybody cooks in a slightly different way and that is what makes this so fun! We will for sure buy the pappardelle on Saturday and have it with peas! Yum! (I have no idea how to spell that kind of pasta. I think I just made it up.)

Melissa , that look so good! You are such a wonderful and creative cook. I learn many things from you. A lot about fresh herbs. You really use them in most of your dishes. Even eggs!I hope you and Brian had a really relaxing day. You deserve it! Love you bunches. Mom

Yummy, Melissa. Ditto, Carolyn on us getting this type of pasta this week to try too. I can’t believe it’s already almost time for another pick up! We still have greens to eat ahhhhhhh.
